Here is a few photos of new coins of Cyprus.

This one is the new 2 euro coin. It includes the idol of pomos which is a prehistoric sculpture represents a woman with her arms spread. It was probably used as a fertility symbol. Large numbers of this kind of sculptures were found in Cyprus. Smaller versions were worn as amulets around the neck.

There is also the one with the shipwreck from Kyrenia. Which I am definitely going to have the illustration./p>
